The 2005 Mixed Club Championship (a.k.a. The Italian) has begun. Starting Sunday evening, January 23, running all week with the finals taking place Saturday afternoon, January 29.

This year an amazing 48 teams of mixed curlers signed up to play and have fun. Every night of the week will host great, exciting, 6 end games. The Friday night (Jan. 28) is also Italian Night at the Cornwall Curling Centre with a great meal of homemade Italian sausages!

The annual event has always been considered the social event of the year. With upwards of 350 dinner guests for the spectacular Italian Meal hosted at the Knights of Columbus Hall on the Saturday night, The Italian is always memorable.

Everyone is welcome to come down to the Cornwall Curling Centre and enjoy the fun.
