Jen Baker’s rink continued their winning ways. They recently completed their run to the finals of the Royal Caledonia Curling Club’s McCallum–Filly Branch competition which is reserved for lady curlers with seven years or less of experience.

The rink, which is made up of third, Fran Secord, second, Lynn Blanchard and lead Brandi Vanderspank, played March 6th, in Winchester, in the Branch Finals versus the team from Glenmore. It was a one game final where the girls fought to an 11-10 victory over the squad from Montreal. This win is the first time a Cornwall team wins the Branch event.
