The OCA Intermediate Provincials hae come and gone and by all accounts it is being declared a great success! Local officials and Curling Centre Members all pitched in together to pull off a great event. Co-chair of the event, Kevin Baker stated "This is the highest calibre event that we have hosted since the World Juniors back in 1984. With our beautiful new facility, and the success of this event, we can look forward to many more."
Cornwall played host to teams from all reaches of the province. The O.C.A. Best Western Intermediate Provincials began March 14th and ran through Saturday March 17. Eight Mens and eight Womens' teams competed for their respective provincial titles. The competition was a 5 day round robin format.
The host committee would like to thank all the local volunteers who helped out before, during, and after the event. With that help, Cornwall's hospitality truly shone through.
