Next Game 4:20 pm Thursday Against Andrew Fairfull (Guelph) March 24, 2005 Kingsville, Ontario -- Kevin Baker and his Cornwall Rink are now 1-2 at the Tim Horton's Colts Provincial Championships being held at the Curling Club of Kingsville in South Western Ontario. Baker and his team of Scott MacDonald, Jeff Bethune and Jean Charlebois, lost 9-6 against Greg Higgs of the Royal Kingston Curling Club. The game was tied 6-6 going into the 9th end and Higgs scored three with the hammer to secure the victory. Cornwall also dropped their third game of the tournament, by a score of 7-4, against Rob Shepherd of the Richmond Hill Curling Club. Cornwall's next action is this afternoon at 4:20 pm against Andrew Fairfull of the Guelph Curling Club. The Shepherd Rink from Richmond Hill is in first place at 3-0, followed by 3 teams at 2-1. With a win this afternonn, Baker's rink will return to a .500 winning percentage and will still be in the hunt in the seven game round robin. More tournament details can be found by clicking here.
