A Great Season Has Come to An End March 26, 2005 Kingsville, Ontario -- Kevin Baker and his Cornwall Rink finished 2-5 at the Tim Horton's Colts Provincial Championships being held at the Curling Club of Kingsville in South Western Ontario. Baker and his team of Scott MacDonald, Jeff Bethune and Jean Charlebois, went 1-4 over the Easter Weekend. On Thursday Baker lost 8-6 to Andrew Fairfull from the Guelph Curling Club. Fairfull scored 3 points in the 10th to secure the victory. Friday, Baker's rink dropped a 9-2 decision to Roy Arndt from the Dixie Curling Club. Saturday morning saw the Baker rink return to the win column with an 8-3 win over the runner-up team of Kevin Matheson from the Listowel Curling Club. Matheson shook hands and conceded after 7 ends. In their final game Baker's rink dropped an 8-6 game to Andrew Thompson of the Stroud Curling Club. Thompson stole 3 in the 10th end for the win. The Provincial Championship was won by Rob Sheppard's rink from the Richmond Curling Club. Congratulations to Kevin Baker, Scott MacDonald, Jeff Bethune and Jean Charlebois on a great season!
