The Canadian Branch of the Royal Caledonian Curling Club was the original organization in Canada for curling. As the provinces formed their own associations with the Canadian Curling Association, the Branch has evolved into a committee of the Quebec Curling Association, (Curling Quebec). It runs several competitions in Quebec and Eastern Ontario, which are usually less competitive than the ones run by Curling Quebec and the OCA. There are strong ties between Eastern Ontario and Quebec in curling, and the Branch serves to keep the spirit of the game going between the two provinces. The President of the Branch is Warren Reddick.

In 1957, to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of its formation, the Royal Montreal Curling Club donated, to the Canadian Branch, an annual trophy for competition among curlers with limited experience in the game.
